About
Gretchen Heath Event Management & Consulting is a comprehensive event consulting company focusing on nonprofit fundraising and outreach events. We offer event creation, management, and facilitation to help increase both the visibility and revenue of a nonprofit organization.
Each staff person within an organization has a specific role. In many of the nonprofits we serve, a single staff person often wears multiple hats. Hosting an event properly can be quite time consuming and draining on a team. Events fit perfectly into a financial budget, but often coincide with critical programming, grant deadlines, and prospective donor relations.
The average event takes 6-8 months to plan, with a cumulative 6-10 weeks of full time work. What could a full-time employee accomplish in this time? Perhaps they could secure new major donors or steward current donors. They could write numerous grants or work on strategic fundraising goals.
Our goal is to alleviate the time, chaos, and confusion inherent in the planning and management of an event, aiming to eliminate staff burnout. We work to increase revenue and generate public awareness of the organization’s mission and work in the community.
